How the hell is a 3 on 1 goal a goalie's fault? That is ridiculous. I ddin't see the game after that. If Rick let up some softies, that's fine, but a 3 on 1 and you call out the goalie??? Please. Idiot Meyer should know that when all three forwards are below the face off dot, you can't pinch at the blueline...and whenever you pinch you better take the puck or the player...he got neither. Looked like no one showed up in the first period from what I saw. |
I miss these and want more of them ![]()

He does. He presses. However, the game was lost in the first few minutes when the Islanders showed you where their minds were on that PP try. It was probably the worst attempt to move the puck into the opponents defensive zone during any two minute stretch this season. This team wasn't prepared to play a hockey game from the coach to the goalie to perhaps everyone except Blake C. A very disappointing effort and it doesn't encourage me when the coach honestly admits many of his players may have had their minds on vacation plans too. |

I wonder if the Boston players aren't being given any holiday then? Unprofessional is the word!

I coulda sworn this was an important win. I expected they would play their guts out to get these 2 points heading into the break. But maybe I was wrong about the urgency of this game...Needless to say, if this is what they are gonna bring to the playoff race, I think we are gonna fall short. |

I am never going to Boston again. BTW, TDB Garden is a dead arena. No one seems to care whats going on unless the Bruins score. If the Isles had a 4 goal lead at home, the place would be going nuts! Same thing if they were losing 4-0 at home. We really are a passionate bunch. We took our share of post-game abuse (and dished a little, too. I mean, Tim-the accidental all-star-Thomas is NOT that good.) and I learned something. THE GIANTS MUST WIN THE SUPERBOWL! |

Haha Boston is the worst. Their fans are absolutely terrible. They are really only happy when they are miserable (if that makes any sense). Like Red Sox fans. Them winning the world series was the worst thing that ever happened, because they turned into what they hated. (The Yankees, who "buy players"). It's a very strange city. They seem to care more about what their rivals do than what their team does. Go Giants! |
