For tradition... Lets do this! From Islanders page.....
|
| After a narrow victory in 1994, Boston Bruins defenseman Al Iafrate was asked why, in the closing moments of the game, he had fired the puck around the boards rather than into the empty net. His reply? "Empty-net goals are for faggots" | |

Don't you love how passers by get treated better than season ticket holders? Those freebies they give out to the first 10k fans we should recieve in the MAIL. PER TICKET. |

I wont be renewing either. Between the team sucking and with all the family fun packs, 4,5,8,10,14 or 21 game pkgs, kids day, screw the STHer promos, and a bunch of other promos, we'll pick and choose the spots we'll go to the Coliseum. We'll save and not be aggravated at the same time. Why should I show up if the team doesn't? And if they turn out to be contenders next year, I'll sign up with 25 games left like Selanne or Neidermeyer for the rest of the season and playoffs. |

I sold it all, retired and moved to Fabulous Las Vegas! The way the economy is going, it's wise to cut back anyway. But the key for me is what you said -- the team showing up occasionally. To lose the amount of home games they have in a row is embarrassing. |
