6. Tambellini, Bergenheim and Comeau get one-way contracts.


FYI - One Way contracts have no bearing on being sent down to minors. Its time served based on age when signed first professional contract or games played over a certain period of time.

Kyle O could have a one contract right now and still be in bridge, he would just get paid major league money while in AHL.

wouldn't someone on a one way also have to clear waivers to be sent down, or is that also a matter of how many NHL games played before that could happen?

That's what Aries is referencing. Games played, age, etc affects waivers - but compensation does not.
