Lets get t his back boys!

I just came from practice and I had my spare camera with me. Took some pix. Sorry for the crooked pix. They looked really good out there!

On a side note...I waited for Satan to come out of the locker room to sign something...Bill Guerin came out and had like 3 people asking for an autograph....He signed 2 and was like "Guys I gotta get outta here" with a pissy attitude. Im sorry I just lost respect for him on that. He cant take an extra 5 mins to sign some swag? I waited for Satan, he signed my puck and I was happy. Hopefully he wont get traded so I can wear my Satan jersey next time and he can sign that for me too

After a narrow victory in 1994, Boston Bruins defenseman Al Iafrate was asked why, in the closing moments of the game, he had fired the puck around the boards rather than into the empty net. His reply? "Empty-net goals are for faggots"

chillllllll....maybe he had to pick up his kids or something geez. The guy's rep is nothing but 100% solid when it comes to fan interaction.

cool pics but about the whole Guerin thing....you can't be pissed at that....you can't expect a guy to come out of practice( defintly tired ) and want to sign a bunch of autographs....i'm sure he's just looking foward to getting out of work and seeing his family

I mean I guess your right but I mean he didnt even smile or be like I gotta run and get my kids...or whatever the excuse would be. Maybe he was in a bad mood, but he just seemed kinda cold, thats all

Yeah, cool it. Can't bother a guy who makes his living from fans like you paying crazy prices for jerseys and tickets. Why would you expect someone like that to take a few minutes to sign something? I mean we have really gone overboard today expecting this type of response. He's probably shuffling off to a second job to pay for the mansion he lives in... :rotflmao:

wow...ur right... he's prolly just a dick. He couldn't possibly have had something pressing to get to...that stuff only happens to regular folks.

Never said he was a "dick." What I said was part of the job of an athlete is dealing with a few autographs. And three people asking for autographs isn't a major task.

not to sound like a crazed looney but i've always wondered why they have public practice sessions. i'd let the islanders (or any hockey team) do what they need to do behind closed doors during practice. it seems like some of the players and coaches always need to keep their cool in front of spectators. that can be distracting. just my opinion.

I was also there at practice and noticed Guerin sign a couple before leaving quick, but he wasn't the only one. Bergeron was in a hurry as well. Comrie gave a teenage kid a bit of attitude and said, "I can't be here all day signing." Then again the kid wanted 3 things signed so I could kinda see that. Plus with tomorrow being the deadline, he could be stressed not knowing where he'll be. :dontknow: But he did sign quite a bit. Vasicek, Nielsen, Park & Hunter were the best (and I even got Snow and Wang) .
If you see someone down on the ground, you lend them a hand. Unless they're a Rangers fan, then you kick them in the face.

everyone is entitled to be in a pissy mood once in awhile...this time of the year (trade deadline) perhaps it gets some players on edge...no excuse I know.....or maybe it was just his time of the month. :dontknow:

Oh I know, I agree; we all get pissy after a bad day at the office. Just our days aren't in the public eye. I thought Comrie was fine for the most part, you never know what they're signing will be on ebay tomorrow.

Let's get back to the winning ways.

I hate making predictions but I say 4-2 final, Isles win.

Hopefully, they play Fleury and he'll be rusty so we got a better shot at winning.

Actually, we could beat a non-rusty Fleury. Gotta keep Malkin off the score sheet. Where's Witt when you need him?

Let's Go Islanders!!!
