Bryan Berard had his worst game yet an an Islander, dating all the way back to his rookie season.  :bfart:

We generated alot of shots but not enough traffic in front to create the chaos that leads to goals.   Our PP looked lost.   We need to run off another 4 or 5 game streak and what better time than this special weekend coming up.   First we win in Atlanta, take this weekends games and everything will be ok again.

I will say that number 71 on Pitt can really skate and move the puck.

It has to do with the mix of players on the PP. If you have three forwards out there that aren't willing to take the punishment in front, then basically your only chance of scoring is from the perimeter. And, as shown last night, an NHL goalie will gobble up those shots. Yeah, the Islanders got a lot of shots on net -- but many of them were floaters that Conklin caught.

Very true shooter. You hit the nail right on the head there but he did make some beauties as well

Yes he did but scoring chances indicate a more accurate read of a game. I was impressed by our hard work the first two periods with 5 -on- 5. It's a shame it couldn't result into anything better on the PP
