For the critics it is an easy call to criticize Nolan decision but I think it should be a good wakeup call for DP |

lets go islanders!!!!! |
| After a narrow victory in 1994, Boston Bruins defenseman Al Iafrate was asked why, in the closing moments of the game, he had fired the puck around the boards rather than into the empty net. His reply? "Empty-net goals are for faggots" | |

I do not think a competitor like DP needs to be"woken" up. It's not like he doesn't have job security with that contract. Of course, he can sit tonight and watch how the D allows stuff like that happen all the time. Talk about losing track of people on the ice. |

It is a stupid decision to start dubie tonight. When a team is in such an important game you put the best players on the ice. This is not the case tonight and don't give me this crap about being a wake up call for DP. What in the hell more does DP have to do for this team. He has fought through injuries to help this team and for the most part has always given this team a chance to win. This is DP's team and he needed to be between the pipes tonight....no matter what the outcome. Nolan, I think you dropped the ball on this one. Hope I'm wrong for the teams sake |

That was FUN to watch. They worked really hard - you could hear the crowd. Now, turn my frown upside down! |
