Hey Moose, Lavvy was another coach run out of town for his less than Islander Country confidence in the franchise goaltender, not sure you want to refer Nolan to Lavvy.

wow... you do love to make stuff up on occasion when it comes to DP don't you.

DP had nothing to do with Lavvy going. If that were the case, I think Lavvy wouldn't have started DP so often in Turino. That was clearly a case of yashin & peca. Or did DP run Peca out of town as well?

First DP was the reason we lost the TB series a few years back and now he is a coach killer?

Come on. You want to bash the guy for his play tonight...go nuts. It's certainly warranted. But atleast in your obsession try to approach the truth at some points.

His play was certainly bad enough tonight that you don't have to resort to making crap up about the past to strengthen your point.

I miss these :cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: and want more of them

I am thinking Satan's output has alot to do with what happened with yashin. He needs a change in scenery. Comrie is just a Lazy player. Simon.....no need to go back there.

What?
I think Satan isn't producing because he's being moved around too much and he's not comfortable, and if Comrie is being lazy, I take it Hiliary didn't make the trip.

Nolan lost alot of my respect tonight.

He rips Rick, but NEVER once his boy Simon, Comrie, or Satan...or anyone who has embarrassed this logo this year.

Ehhh.. Rick deserved a good ripping tonight. He played poorly. Alot of guys did, but Rick certainly hasn't been under Nolan's gun this season and rightfully so.

I think you make a good point about Simon, but I have a feeling Nolan knows DP's ego can take it, whereas who knows where Simon was mentally.

I thought it was a mistake to leave DP in there. Despite Caber's love affair with DP ;) , that isn't something you do to your number one goalie. Pull him after the fifth goal and say it wasn't your night. Even if Nolan wants to start Dubie tomorrow, he could use the work and playing 20 minutes tonight wouldn't ruin Dubie for tomorrow.

Remember, that was done to Roy in MTL and he never played another game for them. While that would please zep and caber, that isn't how you handle your only all-star no matter what the situation. There have been plenty of nights DP has carried this team this season and he deserved better than that.

Why are you still an Islanders fan?

Come on.... Ted gone for this?

Please.

Bad form?

Sure.

But they can't afford to lose him... who would want to coach here? Steve Stirling?

I followed Satan since he was in Buffalo and he is no where near the player he was there. I am not calling him Lazy or not trying but his game is no where near what it should be. Yes he has always been a streaky player. Not once this year has he even had a remote streak. Trust me I love the guy. He is a marathon man but it is clear he wants to be somewhere else.

As Far as the Comrie Comment...Not sure where that went.. I took that as a funny..LOL

Looks like this team has nothing left in the tank, time to close the books on what will rank as one of those forgetable seasons. :puke:

Yep...last few games the effort has reminded me of the effort of the 94 team v. the Raggies.

They just don't have any jump and don't seem to care.

Yes, the Hiliary comment was meant to be funny, as he seems to always produce for his girlfried.

And considering that this was a contract year for Satan, I'm shocked that he didn't produce the way he should have. But I'm not sure he wants to be traded. He's comfortable here. He actually was playing pretty well with Bergie setting him up, but he mentioned that he has been playing positions he's not used to.

Oh well... Tomorrow is another day. And this too shall pass.
