Looks like this team has nothing left in the tank, time to close the books on what will rank as one of those forgetable seasons. :puke:

Man Seeing your name brings tears to my eyes. The night was Dec. 2 1999 When the Rags pick him up off of wavers. That night I was in the Hospital for the Birth of my Oldest daughter. To pour more salt in the wound. My wifes OB GYN is a hugh Rags Fan. DOH

Yes, the Hiliary comment was meant to be funny, as he seems to always produce for his girlfried.

And considering that this was a contract year for Satan, I'm shocked that he didn't produce the way he should have. But I'm not sure he wants to be traded. He's comfortable here. He actually was playing pretty well with Bergie setting him up, but he mentioned that he has been playing positions he's not used to.

Oh well... Tomorrow is another day. And this too shall pass.

He must be producing in the bedroom.   :jerkit:

Right On Time.
I just hope the goalie thing has nothing to do with the whole Ranger game.

Just meaning that you go with your number 1, he is your best go with him.

Dubie wasn't THAT hot, he was 1-1 and played well but come on. Back Up can play 2 solid games with a 2.00 GAA and 1-1 and your TOP goalie comes back to play in a BIG game. They wanted DP to get a rest anyhow.

It would be like the Mets going with Pelfrey for a HUGE game if he had 3 big starts in a row and Santana was just okay his last 3. You go with your top guy.

It isnt second guessing and I am not talking about that game, talking about future and the thoughts of the head coach...... seeing Snow and DP that day they were ANGRY.

Tinman, thank you, noone around here believed me when I said Snow & DP were pissed at Nolans decision to start Dubie.

OH Good grief! You think DiPietro is going to be messed up because Dubie was in net instead of him??? Um. No.

Watch him. He's not moving well. And personally, as I said elsewhere, I think this is the curse of Sudsie returning as his "consultant."

We need an exorcism.... now.

HE's FOREVER an ISLANDER DAMN IT

I remember, he was waived because the guy would play like two games a month due to injuries.

DP From Earlier Today:

“It’s a good place to play,” DiPietro said. Thinking of all the New Yorkers down here with the Yankees conducting spring training here, DiPietro added, “We have a lot of fans down here. That always gets you motivated. Every game from here on in will be a playoff type game.”

that mental image im sure doesnt exist in his head anymore...

Right On Time.
Not his play.

Because of the coach and his thoughts deep down of him.

And I just mean it MAY be a strained relationship.

I don't want to hear he is hurt. Two days ago Ted said he would play EVERY game.

Stop the hurt talk.

We don't say Hunter is hurt or other guys are hurt.

I'd bet he/she treats a number of their players. I'd bet Jagr's been in for plenty of visits this season.

Speaking of hurt; Tank left early with a sprained knee, Hilbert didn't play b/c of his ankle, Vasicek & Colliton are sick, Witt is barely on one leg. Like Ted said in the postgame, he doesn't know if he's coaching the Islanders or the Sound Tigers. That being said we still had Comrie, Guerin, Comeau, Hunter, Park, Bergenheim; someone has to step up!
If you see someone down on the ground, you lend them a hand. Unless they're a Rangers fan, then you kick them in the face.

Nolan at odds with DiPietro after blowout loss

That is the title of Newsdays article for March 12

Asked if he had any response to Nolan's criticism of his puckhandling decisions, DiPietro shrugged and said: "No. Whatever."
