There was some good there - this is good experience... but if we aren't going to make the playoffs (we aren't now) - give me the #1 overall.

More of the same from our pathetic offense. Do we lead the league in "being shut out" now?

This is a joke. Not only do we get shut out, but it was a pretty easy shutout. Havlak only had to make one tough save and that was with 2 minutes left on the nice feed from Tamby.

We have soooo many games like this where we get so damn few quality scoring chances. The 53 save game v. Florida, Anderson only had to make 4 or 5 tough saves the entire time. The 50+ shot shutout v. Pitt, Conklin maybe made 3 tough saves the entire night.

This is just disgusting to watch. Looks like 3-4 forwards are even showing effort out there.

I don't fault our D...even when they are overmatched they are working hard. We had stretches where we couldn't clear the puck, but we did a good job for the mostpart of keeping the Habs to the outside. Yeah, there were breakdowns and DP
made big saves to cover them up, but good god, we just are absolutely horrible on offense.

Good effort, DP was solid but we just cannot score or even create opportunites. So many poor decisions, blind passes, fumbling of the puck tonight.

Funny how Caber and LED don't show up to rant when DP has a solid game.

DP may have looked solid, but the saves he made, he tried to make look spectacular. And he kept staying down longer than usual. Just didn't seem as quick as usual.

They needed him to STEAL this game. He didn't. But what can you do...

How do you try to "make saves look spectacular"?

And you can't steal a game if your team doesn't score a single goal. The best you can do is steal an OT loss or shootout loss.

The guy played a fine game. Our D was overmatched but they hung tough. This is another one that gets hung on the O.

Exactly. And if he had a 50 save performance we'd hear nonsense about... "well, that's what he's supposed to do" or "sure, he does it when we are out of the race".

Don't worry...the chucklehead comments will return.

By catching the puck and falling over with it as if he was hurt.

Soft shots don't deserve dramatics.

Better explanation?

its an explanation.

I don't recall what save you are referring to.

the HNIC announcers were saying that if it wasn't for DP's play, the game would have been over midway through the second.

We'll just agree to see things differently

btw- cool sig
