:stop: Isles lose (good)
Tampa wins (good)
Rags lose (great)

with every loss the Isles could get more balls in the lottery! :punk:

Right On Time.
DP's was real steady tonight.

Montreal can really skate and move the puck.

This was a team predicted by many "experts" to miss the playoffs. Eesh.

BUT I remember almost EVERYONE killing the experts that picked us to be around the 12th or 13th team in the EAST.... good one there (Me included ha).

Me too - but I think we were right (though the results don't show it.)

Let me explain:

While we have had real difficulty scoring - injuries and illness have killed us.

Born during the 1993 Stanley Cup. How heartbreaking is that?
Ok, I don't mind the losing too much, because I have embraced the chance at a good lottery pick...but anybody else get sick when we get shutout by a back-up...first the 53 shots and no goals on March 2nd, now this? :puke:

But I have to say, I really do like watching Montreal. They're quickly climbing up to my #2 team (behind the Isles of course)

WE WANT STAMKOS

Season
Chris Osgood 2007-2008
GPI    W    L  OT  GA  SA  SO GAA  Sv%
38    25    9  3    75  885  4  2.09  .915

with 3 HOF defensemen in front of him and an offense that has scored more than 2 goals in over half their games.

He also got yanked in two consecutive games about 3 weeks ago so its not like he doesn't have rough patches either.

Thanks for playing.

Chris Osgood's stats his last year with the Islanders:

2002-2003 Islanders 37 1,992 17 14 4 - 97 912 2 2.92 .894

Guess, what, goals against and save percentage worse than DP, and he played with a higher level of defensemen than DP has played with ...

now he's gearing up to root against Kyle v. Toronto so he'll probably lose his DP fixation for a game or two.

lol let us know when you want to post on another subject. I'm sure the emoticons will be enlightening. They can be useful to cover up a lack of hockey knowledge as you constantly demonstrate.... or am I "lecturing" again in a rude and obnoxious way? :crying2:

FINAL

Islanders 0
Montreal 3

Caber did you hear this one?

As you walk up and down the beautiful street in Montreal called St. Catharine
You will hear the natives talk about this one Islander as,

Le' Clown

7th- I haven't "turned on anyone" when the chips are down and I'm not the only one who's fed up with the constant "single minded topic" that he's obsessed with.

You and I can have a disagreement about DP in the habs game and it doesn't turn into this...why? BEcause you are someone who actually makes a point when you take a position and, whether or not I agree, I respect that you make points.

What I just find annoying is reposting the same thing over and over without making a point at all...he doesn't like DP...that's fine. But we get it by now. How about some specific criticisms of his play? There's plenty to criticize.

btw- Bergie's been good since the ASG but he has to stop passing up those shots in the slot. He's done it a few times the last few weeks. Driving me nuts. Still, like what his future holds.
