holy sh!t how much do we suck
After a narrow victory in 1994, Boston Bruins defenseman Al Iafrate was asked why, in the closing moments of the game, he had fired the puck around the boards rather than into the empty net. His reply? "Empty-net goals are for faggots"

Born during the 1993 Stanley Cup. How heartbreaking is that?

Why did Snow resign Comrie, he sucks! spin, give away, spin pass to other team. KO good effort but welcome to the losing environment. Without the Dubie miracle and the team Neil Smith put together we would be talking 3 straight years out of the playoffs.

DP in net we prob lose 4-1 w/o the empty net, what are you talking about? DP will be in a wheelchair the rest of the year looks like. DP put himself above the team (again) and cost the team points down the stretch. The Franchise will be 27 come the fall, no longer a young prospect.

FINAL

Toronto 3

Now 6 in a row

And I'm not seeing a light at the end of this tunnel

What team are we going to be next year

Young kids = Young mistakes :bag:

I wonder what has-beens Snow/Wang will pull off the scrap heap over the summer. I hear Craig Janney needs a job.

Everyone here is dreaming of Stamkos, but its no guarantee with this ragtag of front office amateurs. Hell even with him available its no guarantee Snow would even pick him. So far Snows evaluation has brought back Sudsie, hired his buddy Dunham as goalie coach, Signed DP to 15 yrs, allowed his buddy DP to play hurt 3x in 2 yrs costing us points, couldnt resign Smyth or our major UFA's, couldnt bring in impact players, Johnson Stinks, JoVas stinks, Comrie stinks and is a turnover machine, Guerin seems to lack fire. Back to being the laughing stock of the league. (This will surely bring out "wait til our youth matures" crowd) but Ive seen way too much rebuilding since 1993. I wish we had a real GM and owner to fix this team once and for all.

in the steve stamkos sweepstakes the islanders gain ground by sucking again. not to be outdone the thrashers out-suck the islanders and lose to philly. The blues however blink first and are tied at 3 with the canadiens in the 3rd. the blues show the league that they are by far the worst at sucking. the kings, playing later and already eliminated from competition will try their worst later tonite to prove that they by far are the best at blowing and will try to continue their chokehold on the 1st pick.

Sadly, I think LA has a lock on worst record. But with the momentum the Isles have built up, second-to-worst is a realistic possibility. Those ain't bad odds in the lottery.
