What a way to spend Easter Sunday. Only two games on the schedule and the Islanders get one of them. |

These last few games have been great to watch. No need to panic when the boys are on a pp or when Berard is on the ice. I can just watch the kids do their thing. I don't even care who wins cuz I'm hoping the Rags will lose a few games and Philly or Boston will knock them out of a playoff spot. I know it's a long shot but a girl can dream. Maybe I just keep telling myself that so if the Isles lose I don't feel so bad? Happy Easter and lets go Tigers!

As much as I want a win, I want us in the fight for Stamkos. THis sucks, I hate rooting against my team, but I also want a high pick in the draft. The life of an Islander fan. |

Channel 426 on Bell Centre Ice here in Canada......termed "NHL 1" on the channel list....... Gang...remember...you can root for the isles....you just also have to root for LA, StL, Tampa and Atlanta hehe..... We're not gonna get last so as long as we're bottom five then we will either get the Top Pick or a very good pick in a strong draft.... Let's go Isles!!! SAB |

Why is mcdonald in a dubie out? |
| After a narrow victory in 1994, Boston Bruins defenseman Al Iafrate was asked why, in the closing moments of the game, he had fired the puck around the boards rather than into the empty net. His reply? "Empty-net goals are for faggots" | |
