Can anyone tell me why Davidson left the front of the net for the corner on that third goal when his partner was already there????

UNBELIEVABLE. Defensemen rule 1 violated.

Still, a good effort and the kids are playing well.

I just noticed... No tambellini

Where have you been?!?!

He's at the Bridge helping them with their *potential* playoff run.

sao why did KO, colliton, jackman and whoever come back and tamby stayed?
After a narrow victory in 1994, Boston Bruins defenseman Al Iafrate was asked why, in the closing moments of the game, he had fired the puck around the boards rather than into the empty net. His reply? "Empty-net goals are for faggots"

Is it me or does this team play harder for dubie, than dp

Dubie just floats less and has REALLY been on top of his game so it seems that way.

A 50 save performance and stops 2 out of 3 in the shootout. This guy just every night impresses me more.

A couple points... (Dubie is really point one, the guy just plays his angles, challenges, has some balls and gets it done!)

Okposo - Now I come from the school if you get that many chances to score you should bury one or two BUT Kyle does put himself in the right places and that is so important. As I am still learning I realize that is a skill not every one posseses. Throw in his solid speed and size people will not push him around.

I can see this guy putting up BIG powerplay points, because he has the ability to pass. I know guys drop down almost to one knee sometimes on shots, but I don't know if it is a good idea on all of them ha.

Comeau - MAN oh man do I like this kid. I just love everything about his game.

I really do like the Comeau, Park, Okposo line. I wouldn't mind this as line three next year. It gives us depth, and to me the lines 1-3 really are just numbers. Comrie/ Guerin/ ? line 1, Sillinger/ Hunter/ Bergie line 2, Park/Comeau/Okposo line 3. If one of those question marks are a LEGIT forward well we are talking. Then you have the Hilberts and a few other guys.

Park - Seems to have new life playing with the kids. Guy is a player I would want on my team 8 days a week! Makes players around him better! PK excellent, has speed, vision, has some hands. Hit a real cold streak this year and I'm not going to say oh 20 - 25 goals next year BUT he can have a dozen +. Guy scores shorthanded goals which is invaluable.

Bergie - Freight train is the perfect word. I just like everything he brings as well. HE BETTER be signed.

Freddy Meyer has shown me enough to be our 6th D-Man. While the other guys have shown me they can't. Davison, Spiller etc. they can not. Next year..

I would LOVE a top 3 D- Man and move one of these guys down BUT is decent.

Witt/ Martinek
Sutton/ Campoli
Gervais/Meyer

Out of the Tank, Vasicek and Miro (Who I still deep down love but time has probably passed) I would say it is tight between Tank and Josef. I would like to see one of them back and that is all.

Comrie - Just want to say he is a punk again ha-ha.

We have to simplify the PP once again and let the bangers get in there. Tell Hunter to do his best Mark Parrish impersonation. Let Bergie go to the net. Let Comeau, Okposo or Guerin get the puck and if they have one stride to the slot or to the net to rip it and everyone crash.

Good effort from the guys. Dubie has really earned a position just as much as anyone on this team. Really miss some of the D guys. I think Bruno and Camps will have to take another solid step forward next year, even though they are/were hurt this season.

It was a fun time at the coliseum. Richard Park, again with a great game, along with Blake Comeau and Kyle Okposo. That line is working well.

Dubie, 50+ SOG faced and keeps us in this game, actually we should've won it with a few minutes to go. I sure hope we re-sign him.

Here are a few pics from last night, including the sequence of Comeau's goal.

Yep. It was fun last night. Most fun I've had in a few months.

Mike, thanks so much. Every year IQ and I have our "last" game photo. Since the real LAST GAME is a Ranger game, I shudder to think what that would have looked like.

Nice to see Gary and Claire made it into a group shot.

It's gonna be a long off season for sure!!!

I have noticed that about Okposo, too...dropping to one knee to shoot. You have to take into consideration where the pass is for a one time shot. If the pass is too far out in front of the shooter, they normally drop to one knee to apply more weight on the stick to get more flex on the shot. You see Crosby do a lot of dropping to one knee when he shoots.

I have to agree with everyone about the way the younger guys are playing. They are fun to watch and really move the puck. Comeau and Bergie are all over the ice and playing with more confidence each and every game. :isles:
