I know I have at least 16 people who are pooling "Soprano" funds to get rid of me.
I need fan witness protection.

No question about it, bloggers are 30% more annoying after a loss.

We are the Loyal Fan Base.
after watching the replay..and seeing the highlights again.. Olaf Kolzig had a lousy game. Jeff Tambellini's drive left a big fat juicy rebound, and the game winner he was totally out of position. Ollie, what were you doing along the boards??? I'll take the two points though..

It's part of the game my friend...no one is given anything in this league. The team with the fewest mistakes usually wins most nights.

Yep. Just like the goal TB scored off the rebound from the endboards. The puck was never in front of the goalline before the shot.

Make mistakes--- you lose. Ollie the goalie made a few more mistakes, but we had a very ERROR filled game in the 3rd period. Not good.
I miss these :cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: and want more of them

Bloggers aren't a problem for me. It's the posters that proclaim any Islander who scores ready for the all star team or any Islander win as an important step to winning the Stanley Cup.

Born during the 1993 Stanley Cup. How heartbreaking is that?
Has anybody else noticed something Trent's been doing that he never has before?

HE'S SKATING

He has gotten SO much faster since last year. Now he still isn't particularly fast, but he can keep up on the rush, put more pressure on the forecheck, and actually gets some more momentum into his hit. IMO, that may be the key factor in his production thus far in the season.

Also...
Frans Nielsen is the man. I am incredibly impressed with his play in these first few games. He creates so many oppritunities. I know that the PP went one in nine last night, but we had a load of good oppritunities, and a lot of them were made my Frans. I am extremley happy with the improvement he has made over the off-season.
If only he wasn't so scrawny.... :goofy2:

Right On Time.
2 Thumbs Up for Freddy Meyer. He is going to take some penalties, he will be out of position some times, but he plays hard, physical, logs minutes. I think if we had Radek, Sutton and Campoli it would be much better to pick his spots, but he def is a top 6 d-man.

I agree about Freddy. The more I see of him, the more I like his game. Too bad he isnt 3-4 inches taller. Although he does plays bigger than he is. It's why I put him in the penthouse.
