I'll give it a try, is it liver friendly ?

after the 10th one I'd say no

but how can you not be excited about DiPietro…Robert Nilsson…Ryan O'Marra…Petteri Nokelainen…Jeremy Colliton…Kyle Okposo…Blake Comeau…Sean Bergenheim…Chris Campoli…and so many others.

This pre-emptive feeling of defeat, this early in the season is going to make it very tough to maintain interest all the way through a very long season.  I'm not sure I can be a "rebuild type fan" :(
It's pretty unusual for me to have absolutely zero enthusiasm about a game this soon into the season.

...in the interest of enjoying the season I'll have to hold out hope that this team can actually be good this year (stranger things have happened no?)...soooooooo tonight would be a great opportunity for our offensively challanged roster to take advantage of an atrocious Dallas defense and score some goals

Listen, I've said it before and I'll say it again....rebuilding is an organizations excuse for either not wanting to spend money or their way of asking the fans to standby, keep paying premium ticket prices while they "attempt" to fix their mistakes. There is NO ACCOUNTABILITY IN THAT !!!!

In my opinion, you can build while staying competetive if you do it correctly. Just look at how the Sabres have done it over and over again.

Having said that, there is no excuse for being one of the worst teams in the league unless your management is failing.

I'm not even remotely interested in rooting for the "young guys" to develope while we get our a$$es handed to us all year long. We have enough experience and youth on this team that I expect a win each and every night.

Who the hell wants to drink all that beer and do that much damage to their liver with the only reward being "the possible and unlikely development" of some young hockey players ???

Not me !!

really? seemed to work for the crapitals. I still say that they are 3 legit dmen away and some grinders away from making a run at a conference title, but what you described is exactly what Leonsis did with the Crapitals.

He dealt away Jagr, cut the payroll, stunk for 2-3 years and had pretty solid drafts (Ovechkin, Green, Semin, Backstrom) and now they are going to be threats to win that weak-ass division for the next 6 years.

It isn't a cop out if a team actually does rebuild with youth. I think the caps went about it the right way...but they are still only 2/3 the way through their rebuild in my mind. I wouldn't mind seeing the Isles do it that way, and I think they can do it quicker because they already had some "prospects" in Okposo and Comeau and a legit goalie-- something the Craps didn't/don't have, when the process started.

We shall see. If they actually bring in young talent...then great. If not, then tune the pitchforks and light the torches.
I miss these :cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: and want more of them

Doug Weight has been the Invisible man
The first game he scored a point or an assist either one

Then I noticed him on the ice just before

He's the next Kvasha
1 good game every 5 then invisible.

The only difference between the two is Weight is already 37 years old

NOTE:
