Well at least Okposo showed he has it in him to play like a first line Winger (corrected).

That's right, I said it.

Really?
I mean, don't get me wrong, he played GREAT today, deffinitley first line calibur.
But that was today.
He has not played on this level in the previous games.
Hopefully he can keep it up, and prove you right, but I will not agree with that statement until he does so.

But let's all hope that you're right with KO.
If you are, there may actually be something worth watching this season.

Crappy third period, but I thought the Isles did better then previous games.

The youth looked better tonight. Good job by Guerin sticking up for Hillen. Outcome was ok considering some people wrote this game off before it started.

If Guerin wanted to do something for his team, he should have finished what Voros tried t do to Hillen. Jack Hillen is god awful.

Seriously. Good stuff from Okposo tonight. I actually saw one shift where that tambellini kid finished a check. Trent Hunter played well and I'm surprised we almost made a game of it with 4 starting D-men out.

For me, that one shift with Thompson, Sim and Hilbert (once again) showing some grit.
I like that line, but overall, it's another loss.

At least they competed this game. They tried with what they had. Cannot complain about this game.

:disgraced: Guerin did what he had to do, he showed as he always does that he is a leader to bad he leads a really crappy team. Repeat after me Garth must go Garth must go. Good for Ted Nolan keep cashing that check and laugh all the way too the bank, I am sure he is laughing at this joke of and organization.

Of course he is going to have to show it game in and game out to gain the credibility. But, the point is he showed us something tonight. The talent started to seep through the seems.

Credit to the Rangers though, have play hard and have talent. Can't wait till we're back for real. Que the LedZep 1984 and then post...

My view from 303.

1. Okposo had his best game as an Islander. The kid does not quit, went hard to the net, and finished. He should have had at least one more.

2. Tambellini, Comrie... SOFT. CHARMINS SOFT. To his credit, Tambellini finished one hit.

3. Joey Mac, stood on his head. Sit Ricky for the year at this point.

4. Bergenheim. He means well, he really does, never stops going. But takes penalties because of it.

5. Guerin is the captain he should be, he didn't let the refs or anybody walk over anyone without at least an earful.

6. Gervais is not very good. Puts up little to no resistance when going one on one.

7. Streit was a great pickup.

pretty dead on.

Not to harp on Tambellini bashing, but how many more games
before we question the pedigree?
Is he adopted?

not a bad game. They tried. Stayed toe to toe with a ranger team with all that talent. Not bad for an Ahl team. The rangers are lucky they one. Lucky bounces :angrier:

joey mac good be the starter the rest of the year, the team seems to play somewhat better when he's in goal. A little less confusing on defense.

Ricky for Gaborik :punk:

bruno is done for the nhl, has no clue what to do.

kyle comes alive..tamby peaked but still stunk, nielsen just isn't ready.

when is comeau coming?

I like Bergie a lot but when they talk about players that aren't smart he is real high up on the list. His soft clearing too multiple times TERRIBLE.
