I am so pissed about the loss tonight, my blog update will have to wait till tomorrow. They stopped skating in the 3rd and tried to sit on the lead and BLEW IT! UNACCEPTABLE SCOTTY & PLAYERS, UNACCEPTABLE! ! !

Lebeau scored in double OT of Game 2 at the Forum. Carboneau's was Game 3 at the Coliseum...shortly after Turgeon missed on a break in...

I just got home from this one..

I am just plain disgusted. With this team, this organization. This team really knows how to rip the hearts out of there fans. For the first time tonight, I put my loyalty to the Blue and Orange in question. I knew we were going to have a bad season. But to see this makes me not want to come to the games. I'd rather just sit in the dark from 7pm to 9:30pm and wait till the highlights come one than sit through another debacle like this one. :disgraced:

Is it spring training yet?
WOW. I missed this game as I was at my own game. It was 4-3 from when I left the rink to my car then I get in my car finally get my stuff together turn on the game and it's 5-4 Habs. I just watched the "highlights" Jesus Christ they looked AWFUL in the 3rd. Why were there so many Habs fans at the game? It sounded like when the Rags come to town. This is sad it's November and we only have 2 wins.

There were almost 2,000 Montreal fans in the house. Some of them came in 19 buses. Some drove on their own.

It felt like a Rangers game, except the Canadian fans were very polite and very friendly. At least the ones sitting next to us.

I was joking to some friends that the Islanders couldn't even get 19 bus loads of Islander fans to the Coliseum. That is just sad.

In Wang I DON'T Trust
All Im saying is that this is the worst Islander game I have ever witnessed..there is no reason why our defense gives up 16 shots in the 3rd period..much less 4 of those 16 are goals.

The Isles dominated every assest of that game up until the 3rd period. Once Gordo called that Timeout after the 2nd Habs goal, I knew it wasnt good..I just had that feeling that something bad was going to happen..and well, it did.

They should try selling their tickets to the fans of the other teams. Look how well it worked last night.

Game 3 Thank You for refreshing my memory was sitting behind the Habs net, listening to a silent coliseuem and 4 idiots going go habs go, then my buddy was tackling them and punches were flying those were the days.

This game was lost by the coach. you think the players just decided to stop fore checking? its obvious the philosophy of the coach changed after he took that timeout. (which might have been more useful later in the game) why try to sit on a 2 goal lead when your strategy for 2/3 rds of the game was very effective? because he is not an NHL coach. its obvious that we dont have the personnel to sit on a lead, pock is terrible. danis was not bad, he did enough for them to win. but 16 shots in the 3rd? give the guy a break, he did make some good saves but the habs had practically free reign around the front of the goal in the 3rd, they had nothing in the first two periods.
and another thing, hats off the the Habs fans they out numbered the isles fans and really got their team going, it is sad that people have to travel from another country for the coliseum to get an exciting atmosphere. i am not knocking our fans at all, what do we have to get excited about? our owner is clueless, our GM is clueless and our coach is clueless.

Danis gave up too many juicy rebounds. You can't blame the coach for that unless we dress Gordon instead. The loss was an entire team effort. Perhaps Gordon could have done more, but the players didn't do anything. All of the players were embarrassing. Danis showed why he can't be the backup and the rest of the team showed why you need to keep skating and playing hard for 60 minutes, not 40 minutes.

so you are telling me they just decided to sit back on their own? that's just silly
not disputing that danis didnt give up rebounds but he was doing it all game, difference was we were taking the play to montreal

Lets go with Yann Danis and Joey MacDonald
Buy out DP or trade him for 2 picks or 1 possible
scorer and

END THIS NIGHTMARE ALREADY :disgraced:
