Born during the 1993 Stanley Cup. How heartbreaking is that?

crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap Next time we play the Devil, Mottau better hit the ice every time he steps on it. The guy deliberatly head hunted one of the smallest guys on thhe team, and he's out for 8 TO 12 GODDAM WEEKS because of it. If the embarrasment of a suspension he got wasn't enough punishment, make him pay for it next game. The irony in this is that it happened the same day I made the kid my avatar. damn |

What the F*****!!!!!!THis is truely sickening. I missed the game last night but was able to catch the replay on youtube. That was a dirty as they come. He didn't just elbow Frans, he caught him with the but of his stick. The islanders should raise hell on this. Kudos to Hunter for jumping on Mottau, too bad he can't fight. Note to Scott Gordon: You have a huge ugly mo-fo who is PAID to protect the like of Frans Neilson and Kyle Oposko. HE is in the line up. He is willing to kick the crap out of anyone who pulls a stunt like this. YOU must send the message. When this stuff happens, you put Fritz on the ice with Jackman and pound heads. Otherwise, expect the rest of the league to bully and injure our rookies. You severly dropped the ball on this one. The league will turn a blind eye as this proved. The NHL will not protect your players. Your GM either doesn't have the balls to speak up or he is doing it in the background. You are the leader here. Don't make that mistake again. |

That explains everything. Please don't do this again - we don't need anymore injuries. Thank you. |

A complete injustice. I know there is no supposed conspiricy theory regarding suspensions and the Isles but it certainly looks like how Campbell is playing it. This is going to hurt the Isles in a huge way. Frans was beginning to have a break out type year and now that's dashed, not to mention a center who could carry the puck from one end to the other. We are certainly going to miss him. I hope Snow brings up one of our Bridgeport centers who's putting the puck in the net and not make Fritz the permenant replacement. |

And if he had, it would have been an automatic suspension for Fritz and a 10k fine according to the change in the fighting rules. |

but didn't gordon have plenty of time left in the 3rd period, to send him out sooner? in order to not get any suspension. Forgive me, I don't recall how much time was left in the 3rd. |

VIVA LAS VEGAS

Yea its disgusting! I was watching hockey night live and the 4 of them said that it wasnt as bad as people are making it out to be. Motteau tried to get outta the way and ended up clipping Neilsen in the face. That Motteau was aiming for his chest and the 2 game suspension should not have been given bc it was deliberate. What I did agree on was they were all for that if it was a hit done on purpose with an intent to injure then the suspension is as long as the injury is. What a bunch of tools on that broadcast. Even Goring was defending Motteau. Hands down makes me wanna

Pock gets five? And we lose a guy for three friggin' months and the guy gets two friggin' games? I think thta we should simply enter the league office backwards with a target on our butt. It will make it easier for them to stick it up our a$$. What a joke. We lose one of our best forwards and the crime goes unpunished. We better slap Mottau around next time or else. I guess if no justice is served we need to take it upon ourselves to exact some revenge. |

Frans "friggin" Nielsen. The guy I lambasted Garth Snow for handing a 4 year, 1-way contract (after proving NOTHING in the NHL) had grown major confidence and seemed to be a PERFECT coachable player under Scott Gordon's system. He got better and better every game DESPITE having to deal with Tambellini on his line at times. Just at the height of his progression, the kid gets cloths lined by an over exuberant Mike Mottau. Typical crap for us. I am mad at Gordon right now like you cannot imagine. If it was Wayne Gretzky, the Pope or even Sean Avery doing that, you send out your Mitch Fritz and you send a friggin message. Al Arbour would have. And please don't give me crap about my Gordon criticism. He deserves it. Idiot. Friggin idiot. He blew it. This is the NHL. You send a message right back. Gionta, Elias or Parise should have been on their rears but the Peter Brady look-a-like couldn't figure it out. bastid. get well soon Frans, you made a believer out of me and made Garth Snow look brilliant with your hard work. |

Depot you are totally on the money. I mean why the hell do we have Jackman or Fritz for? Unreal. That's something Gordon is gonna have to learn if he is to succeed in this league.....otherwise teams will run all over us and get away with it. |
