I dunno about the outcome of the game... but I woke up and the 1st thing I thought was Tambellini.....
After a narrow victory in 1994, Boston Bruins defenseman Al Iafrate was asked why, in the closing moments of the game, he had fired the puck around the boards rather than into the empty net. His reply? "Empty-net goals are for faggots"

Is it spring training yet?

Is that Claude Loiselle in the background of the pic of Colin Campbell? Does he work for the Blues or the NHL anyone know? I saw him in Champions after the home opener. I met him once back in the 90's, total d**k.

Oh to make this Isles related. GO ISLES! Maybe we can get through a game without Higgins scoring against us (is he hurt)?

Looks like him
93' key Islander

Claude Loiselle (born May 29, 1963 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) is a retired Canadian ice hockey forward.

Loiselle started his National Hockey League career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1983. He also played for the New Jersey Devils, Quebec Nordiques, Toronto Maple Leafs, and New York Islanders. He retired after the 1994 season.

He is currently the Assistant General Manager for the Tampa Bay Lightning and General Manager of the Lightning's American Hockey League Affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals

right on!

not an easy game but the Habs are in a vulnerable spot. Isles need to take advantage early and keep the D fluid.

Tonight's game, as well as the last 3 presented on MSG2-HD, have had the volume on the play-by-play going up and down like crazy.

Has anyone else been experiencing this problem???

BTW... if this has been discussed previously, my apologies.. have been away from NYIC temporarily.
