Tambellini for O'byrne. He's already scored more goals for us than Tambellini.

Thats funny. Gordon just said Weight told him he used overspeed to pressure the puck and force the kid to send it towards his own. |

I've been waiting for someone to post that. Let's look at Snow since June... Traded down twice and took Bailey...now while it is still early Bailey looks like he can develop into something good. Plus with the two second round picks we took the Russian winger that was the 2nd overall Euro rated in the draft and Ness who is now at U of Minn. So far...a good move by Snow. Drafted 5 of the top 35 rated players in the draft last year... time will tell, but that is good work. Signed Weight... so far a good move by Snow Signed Streit... so far a VERY good move by Snow Signed MacDonald and cut loose Dubie... so far a VERY good move by Snow. Now these are alot of "so fars", but for the amount of grief Garth takes on this board and all the "back goalie is a GM" stuff, those have been his 4 biggest moves of the past year and they seem to be working out. |

Petrov was drafted 73rd overall in the Third round.... Ness was 40th overall in the Second round. But I agree, Snow is proving to everyone that he just may know what he is doing - something I never really spoke negatively about to begin with. |

I love that O'Byrne kid. Can he be traded to each team that the Isles play? Tough break for the kid, though. Glad the Isles came away with the 2 points. 10 more until Doug Weight gets 1000. |

Ty... Nees was the trade down with Nashville. We used that pick on him. We took Tirivino with our own 2nd round pick and we took Harmonic in the 2nd round with the Ducks pick. I keep thinking Petrov was a 2nd round pick, but we used the Oilers/Duck 3rd round on him and we took Toews with our own pick in the 3rd. Still, a good draft. Hope it pans out. |

Hahahha. Those stupid refs trying to give the Canadiens the game on a silver platter end up giving it to us. What an awesome play. It's about time we got some luck. Times are tough for sure. |

Right On Time.

Couple things... 1) I like Bailey a lot too, but everyone easssy. He hasn't even scored a goal yet. Top 10 picks better have some talent. I know he is a playmaker and a guy that sets people up, but we passed on some guys, who knows, do I think Bailey will play well? Sure, I hope he can be a Doug Weight in his prime, but studs that go top 10 have to put up points (Not when he is 18 or 19, but we can't crown him yet either). 2) I don't want to see Mike Comrie ever again. EVER AGAIN. 3) As I spoke to my buddy Snowman on the phone tonight.... they are coached well. They play the system they go too it. I loved Nolan, but Gordon has opened up guys like Hunter and the PP etc. 4) Good for Joey Mac. Shows you don't have to have a great team or a ton of talent to stand out and play very well (Sure everyone will say we play tight D and all that, when Rick has GAA over 3 and save percentages barely in the .900's it shows he wasn't playing on a very high level.) I KNOW Mac will go through a tough time, it is nice to see. |
