I'll be watching on centerice.

Will be interesting to see if the Isles come out with any jump and maintain it against a team they just manhandled a week ago back to back, or will the Sens come in with the fire that was lacking in that matchup.

Both teams have many questions to answer.

At least the Isles answered the Bailey question.

Good for him.

I just heard Jaffe say that Pock was put on waivers.... What does that mean really? I never quite understood what 'waviers" means...
After a narrow victory in 1994, Boston Bruins defenseman Al Iafrate was asked why, in the closing moments of the game, he had fired the puck around the boards rather than into the empty net. His reply? "Empty-net goals are for faggots"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waiver

A waiver is the voluntary relinquishment or surrender of some known right or privilege.

While a waiver is often in writing, sometimes a person's actions can act as a waiver. An example of a written waiver is a disclaimer, which becomes a waiver when accepted. Other names for waivers are exculpatory clauses, releases, or hold harmless clauses.

Sometimes the elements of "voluntary" and "known" are established by a legal fiction. In this case, it is presumed one knows his or her rights and that those rights are voluntarily relinquished if they are not asserted at the time!

In civil procedure, certain arguments must be raised in the first objection that a party submits to the court, or else they will be deemed waived.

He has to clear waivers in order to be sent to Bridgeport because he has a one way deal. IF he clears waivers (no one claims him), then the Isles can send him to Bridgeport. If he doens't (another team claims him), then he joins the team that claimed him and they pay the remainder of his salary.
