Well, frankly I expect better of you.

That's more akin to Ledzep's antics then anything I've seen from you.

Agreed. Other than health updates, there really isn't a need to mention Rick right now.

Joey let in 2 soft goals tonight. Simple as that. He didn't play the shot off the wall on the Brashear goal well and he flubbed the shot by Ovechkin on the first goal. Simple as that.

Now with that, I say "so what". The Isles can't keep throwing him out there 15 straight nights and then be shocked that he's going to let in a softie or have an off night. Every goalie has off nights and when you start wearing down your backup, don't be shocked.

Joey had a great month of Nov. and I hope he has a great month of Dec. But the Islanders aren't the Devils where Brodeur got nights off even when he played by facing 20 shots or less a night. The Crapitals had over 44 shots tonight. Unacceptable and the Isles can't keep expecting their goalie to stand on their heads to bail them out.

Joey's play in Nov. was a bandaid that covered up some warts on this team. If his play doesn't stay at the level it was in Nov., those warts will be revealed and they won't be pretty.

Dee-- very funny followup with the emoticon crack :yea: :yea:
I miss these :cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: and want more of them

FINAL

Islanders 2
Crapitals 5

Isles now 10-13
Critical time for these Isles
10-13 can easily turn into 13-20
     :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag:

This is usually the month where that happens

Again hockey is a 60 minute sport. No one to blame but ourselves.

okay, I'll start.

first I didn't watch the game, thank God. Actually had plans for the night, apparently the Islanders did too.

I would much rather watch joey macdonald in net. then that egomaniac. Judging by teammates reactions to the two, it is more than obvious that they prefer it too.
