I thought it was funny when they went to the war room in Toronto on MSG last night and then show Kris King, the ex Ranger working in the room. It is nearly like the staff is setting the pins up for us to knock down. Think about it.

The Ex Ranger helping to make serious calls against the Islanders. This may be conspiracy theory, and to be honest I am not sure how long he has been there, but it would help explain some things throughout the years.

ties to MSG. That's probably why they chose him.

but Pat Flatley is also a part of the "war room" and Campbell's "punishment committee"...so go figure.

A former captain of ours...granted he couldn't beat a Zamboni from one end of the ice to the other...
I miss these :cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: and want more of them

He's probably a disgruntled ex employee at this point.

C'mon, FLATS?!? This guy played ten seasons on Long Island and was the last of five, count 'em, five consecutive captains who helped bring our team deep into the playoffs (all but Sutter, into the semis---and Sutter's '87 team missed by one game).

Anyone who remembers his 6-9-15 run in the '84 playoffs, still the highest rookie totals for any Islander, even Boss and Trots . . . would laugh at this thread.

Yeah, he played a season for the Rags, but he's a disgruntled former employee of Mike Milbury, not the Isles. And I feel confident that he'll hit Kris King and Colin Campbell upside the head with two very stale bagels if they mess with us again.

I wrote probably there for a reason. No while I likes Flats while he was here, I have no memories of the situation regarding his departure from the team. I was suggesting the management may have forced his ouster and pissed him off, although I don't know for sure. Call it a hunch.
