Sim cleared per Botta

Quote:

1:05 pm - Jon Sim has cleared waivers and will remain with the Islanders. However, Sim will not be playing tonight. Nate Thompson is back in after sitting out a game with the flu. Mitch Fritz remains in the lineup and will fight Godsy.

Jon Sim is back :punk: :punk: :punk: :punk:

...now go bring the stanley cup on the ice for the captain.

this had me laughing..even the stanley cup joke..

they just take a player and name him - does it matter if he has a contract just put him out there for anyone to take- whats different about this than a trade..is it like a garage sale?

Hey, say what you will about Sim, at least he said all the right things when interviewed the other day. Handled it like a pro.
I sincerely hope for his sake that he refocuses to get his game on track so he can earn a spot either here or most likely somewhere else.

After what happened in Pittsburgh last night, Jon Sim might be the luckiest son of a gun on this team. To cut him would be like letting someone out of prison, lol.

And as unimpressive as ever in the lineup.

I sold it all, retired and moved to Fabulous Las Vegas!
