Stupid penalty or not, Comrie, Okposo and Comeau are lighting it up right now. Hustling, making plays, and creating chances.

Every 10 games or so this will happen

The eternal optimist.

Comeau, Okposo, and Comrie were the best line, but each line rocked it. I didn't see too much Bergie in the last 5 minutes.

Well, we hit 10.... I think that's the longest losing streak this season for any team. Even Tampa wins once in a while. Unfortunately, the score doesn't reflect how well the Islanders played. One boneheaded goal because of a boneheaded penalty, one goal that Joey has to stop (Schneider).... minus Comrie's idiot play, this game goes to OT, so I guess a loss fits because Gordo views OT as a loss....

Merry Christmas Islander fans... we can't even beat a weak Atlanta team.

The record for consecutive losses is 17 set by the '74-'75 Caps. That should put us into contention for Tavares, and if not certainly Hedman.

In the film of pd talking to Gordon just before they went to commercial
Reading dpd's lips it seemed he said to Gordon "that's not the way it will be"
or something to that affect
or something to that affect
or something to that affect :disgraced:

Just got back from the game. I will give credit where it's do.
1) Tamby. Good hustle, dug in the boards, couple of good hits.
2) Guerin. STUNK THE PLACE OUT. Didn't move his feet once. Too many passes to the Thrashers.
3) Andy Hilbert. AWESOME!!!
4) Witt. I'm not his biggest fan, but he had a decent game.
5) MacDonald. First goal should have never got in. Too many big rebounds. Needs a rest. Otherwise, solid.
6) Rest of team. Seemed nobody had a fire up their a$$. Maybe the break will help them focus................... Yeah, right.
Just my observations through my mask :disgraced: :disgraced:

P.S. Westfall18. Didn't mean to insult your jersey. He had a good game.
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

You know I can take losses like this one. We showed signs of life and the youth on our team really played well. This is what I was talking about in accepting losing if there are bright spots and tonight Okposo and Comeau certainly were the bright spots on this team. Okposo generates something everytime out there and Comeau really showed great poise and vision.

Like someone said, give credit where credit is due and tonight the youth deserved it. We get play from them like this and we'll win some games.

And Hilbert is Awesome!!!

Agreed Webb. I haven't seen as many games as I usually do this year (I dvr them and generally fast forward thru most of the game) but last night's game was fun to watch, even though we lost. I don't know if most of our other losses have been in this manner, but if they were, I think the frustrations, while understandable, are misplaced. Anyway, hopefully last night was a hint of some of the good things to come. Patience, grasshopper, patience.

I hear this, but it was vs the thrashers. I would like to see a good effort vs a quality team. We got to start somewhere i guess
