DP's First Home Game

The air outside the NVMC is crisp and cold with the anticipation of the return of
Rick D Pee Ate Throw.
Maybe the single greatest night in New York Islander history

The return of Rick D Pee Ate Throw.

During warm ups the the crowd of 16,297 (must be a 10, 000 over capacity)
are shaking the NVMC with chants of DP DP DP

Joey Mac is taking the shots during warm ups, the crowd is confused but
continue the DP DP DP chants.

All of a sudden the lights go off and from the rafters off the NVMC
Rick D Pee Ate Throw is lowered down wearing a cape and a kings crown.

Old women and young boys are fainting in there seats
Wetting themselves
The game starts and the kids are flying, after 1 Isles leading 2-0.

End of 2
3-1 Isles

The leafs start to pick up there play and tie the score at 3-3
Rick D Pee Ate Throw is now starting to come out of net more and more
shaking his head, banging the goal posts with his stick and not sure if he's
smiling or in pain when the camera gives him a close up..

Blakeman comes down the left side and shoots and scores.
Rick D Pee Ate Throw did a spread eagle trying to stop the shot and comes up
flexing his knee up and down and holding his hip...............

DP with the win. Too bad Andy got hurt.
If you see someone down on the ground, you lend them a hand. Unless they're a Rangers fan, then you kick them in the face.

The Islanders Reference Manual Rule 7.4.22-37 States that : The New York Islanders must only have one (1) awesome player in the lineup at a time. Any attempts to bend this rule will be subject to injury.

Hey, I didn't write it. :P

Pretty pathetic to post that before the game begins and to hope that one of our players gets hurt?

Not only do you look like a fool because he played well and got the W, but actually pulling for a player to get hurt???

Wow. I thought you were just hating a player. Now you've just shown a total lack of class.

Wish I had read that post before the PM I sent you. Might have changed it.

Pathetic doesn't begin to describe it.

And btw- leave the poetry to Walt W.

You know...hate all you want. It's stupid, but fine. Whatever. But to pull for the guy to get hurt.

Makes all the pointless, stupid posts from the past clear. NO ideas and no class.

I've always thought Zep was a Rangers fan because he hates DP more than they do, but even a Rags fan doesn't pull for him to get hurt playing the Leafs.

If DP is good it makes his entire existance on this board pointless. He's made a daily living ripping apart Rick DiPietro for the last 3 years. 30 win seasons, All-Star Game, getting this team to the playoffs: all have been reasons for him to go hide underneath his rock. Once Rick gets hurt though, Zep is front and center leading the charge.

What will the posts say if
DP plays tomorrow night and losses.

I'm pretty sure he's not going to run the table
the rest of the year.

History has a way of repeating itself
