I'd like to think it will be based on how the team played (his own play included). If he lost a game where he faced 50+ shots and lost giving up one goal like at MSG a few seasons ago, then I'm sure you'd be jumping with glee to blame him, but I wouldn't.

If he doesn't play well, then he should get criticized.

However, my main point is he shouldn't play back to back nights. Not yet anyway. There is no need. We have a more than capable backup in Joey Mac who needed a rest, got it, and should start the second of a home and home.

------------------

Now, I'm sure that makes absolutely no sense in Ledzep's mind because it involved...

1- thought
2- a clue about hockey
3- no emoticons

and I'm pretty sure the definition of a hater is starting a thread immediately after a win that is about hoping for a loss the next night.

let me know when you find your white whale Ahab.

The only way to get through to him is to talk dribble like him

Dipietro is a presence on this team------- :rotflmao:

HOCKEYBOY NORTH says Dipietro does a lot for this team.

Spot is my pet :doggy:

Zep adds absolutely nothing to this board and should have been banned years ago

Right On Time.
I read this on ESPN and this really does make me understand why people talk about management and organzation in this way. I thought it wasn't going to be done this way. I mean Jaffe who knows a lot talked in the last broadcast, telling everyone to be calm and after the New Year and health is 100% and all that.

I was glad to see him tonight and he played well, but I don't need him "Giving it a whirl", with a team that needs him in a few years to be a rock.

Quote:

DiPietro said he decided that it was worth a shot to play.

"We talked about it coming into the week," DiPietro said. "I practiced on Monday and Tuesday, and went out and took some shots during the break. We came in today and decided to give it a whirl."

Hopefully, it was him just being casual in his answers.

I agree with you that we don't need Ricky coming back until he's 100% and we certainly have no incentive to overplay him whether he be 90% or 100% healthy.

I hope you are just reading too much into it...but with how the Isles have been who knows lol

Apparently just words. DP, our lone all-star, finally returns and earns a W and we get Zep's nonsense. Wow. He (?) must have some seriously insane pictures of someone or something!

Ricky played a good solid game last night and kept it SIMPLE (That's all i can ask for!!!)

though i'll admit, i get nervous when he falls hard on the ice. i still think he's made out of glass.

if DP keeps this up, we can kiss our 1,2 pick goodbye

I agree. DP is a top notch goalie worthy of an all-star selection.

Glad to see you finally making a worthwhile contribution to the board.

Keep up the good work. ;)
