You can call me Joe.
Last vent of the night - what's with the used car salesman suit/tie on that guy (not Jaffe)?
Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

That's a typical Rangers-Isles game for ya.

A back and forth nailbiter.

A couple nice fights too which is always nice.

I thought the Rangers outplayed and outhustled the Isles for 2 of the 3 periods. Mac did let in a weak one, but he can only do so much.

Hopefully Hunter's injury is minor.

since I'm power venting here....

Jaffe - do you need to sound SOOO excited by the Rangers? Feeling a little cheated on here.

Witt - replays before last faceoff look like he left 2 guys wide open to whack in easy goals in front of the net, maybe more going on, just didn't look good in slo mo.

tough loss. decent effort.

saw that also...but on one play I think meyer was going down to block pass and missed, guess meyer should've taken the body.. :rotflmao: taken the body :rotflmao:

another play I think witt had a man in front, but gomez was open at the side on that 6-5 delay pen...don't know who's man that wa.

but anyway...not picking on witt here...but he is just too damn slow.. :letssee: guess I am.

From the way the broadcast went, it sounds like Versus wants the Rangers to win the game, hence why Jaffe has to sound soooo excited. I'm not saying that Versus has it out for the Isles, but that Versus has a stake in airing an exciting game where the projected winner comes out the winner (or the team in a higher place).

I just thought jaffe was excited to witness a team that actually knows how to play...

Tonight brings us another step closer to landing John Tavares. Keep the faith Islander fans. The many here on this board should be commended. I noticed the fans haven't quit. Next year your loyalty will be rewarded.

Note to Snow: keep DP out. Keep Joey in. If DP goes on a hot streak, he'll kill our chances to get the first pick.

Can someone tell Gervais he's a stay at home defenseman.

Seriously - stay at home. Your home.

He should have a JPMorgan CHASE logo on his jersey for how much he, well you get it....

Bruno really sucks. Just let Comeau and Okposo play the rest of the game.

I hate Scott Gomez.

I think Rags fans hate him too, considering he's got getting 1 million per goal this year. And I think he doesn't even lead them in Assists either. Another brilliant contract by the rags.

So our ineptitude has reached new lows. Not even the '72 expansion Islanders lost 10 in a row on the road.

:disgraced:

However, in a loss like this the easy thing to swallow was the play of Okposo and Comeau, again. It's these two that make me want to tune in again.

The only way DP can go on a "hot streak" is if he jumped out of a
boiling hot tub naked and ran through the Coliseum concourse.

Absolutely Webby. Comeau and Okposo both played very well last night. Leave those two alone and let'em play.

Smile or no smile, I thought Fritz won that one, though.

hockeyfights.com Clearly, I am in the minority on this one.

The biggest thing we could come out of this season (other than the top pick) is the development of Comeau, Bailey and Okposo. It looks like they are proceeding nicely. Yes, Queen, maybe the plan is taking shape after all.

I don't know if this is true or not, but from my limited sources in the AHL. Mitch is a bleeder, so of course it looks like he lost. But if you watch the video..his punches connected.
