You've Just Been Served!

EXACTLY what I as thinking. You want to see what Tambellini is all about - fine. But Bergie deserves a higher spot in the pecking order over Sim. |

Bergenheim - Weight - Guerin Tambellini - Comrie - Okposo Comeau - Sillinger - Hunter Sim - Park - Colliton Witt - Martinek Sutton - Streit Campoli - Gervais DP Joey Mac I think this will be closer to the outcome... but we really can't say until camp is over. Enjoy the summer here first, folks. |

I think you will see this Tambellini-Weight-Guerin Comeau-Comrie-Okposo Bergie-Silly-Hunter Sim-Nielsen-Park Witt-Martinek Sutton-Streit Gervais-Campoli DP Joey Mac EXTRA: Hilbert I can almost guarantee that is what it will look like. |

Why bring up Nielson to play him 4th line minutes? Did we see so much out of him in the past two seasons to think he has the making of an nhl regular? I don't think so and I don't think he's better than Hilbert. AGain...jmo |

Good mix of vets and young guys -- going to be very challenging to put the right mix on the ice. Lot of opportunity for youngsters to crack the lineup, but they're going to have to really prove they belong -- esp. ahead of Park & Hilbert, hard to say about Sim until we see him out there & healthy. Dark horse prediction: Andy Hilbert visited by the Scoring Fairy over the summer / challenges for time on top lines. |

To me Park is the 4th line center. And 7th, dont worry after 4 or 5 games they will switch Bergie and Tamby, the way it should be, if Tamby is still in the lineup. Never have I've seen so much given blindly and unearned than with Tambellini. I wish the Islanders would just trade him already so we can stop discussing this guys potential that hasnt even been potentially there in the NHL. Bergie's worked his ass off last year and should be rewarded. |

This organization plays favorites and always has.....which is precisely why Bergie won't get the top spot.....at least not right away. I'm rooting for Tamby though to become the type of big time scorer he was in the AHL. |

Tamby is rapidly gaining the reputation as one of those guys who flourish at the AHL level but just can't make that next step to the NHL. This year it's do or die for him. |

Either its that or this organization has no clue on how to draft and develop a player. And let's face it: we don't exactly have a stellar record in that area. |

Good point. I get sick when I think about how many players went on to become superstars after the Isles dumped them off in a bad trade. For years we were considered the NHL's farm team. |

VIVA LAS VEGAS
|
I like those lines one D much better. In every line except the Campoli/ Gervais combo there was some sort of toughness. That D combo was lacking a hard hitting player while the Sutton/ Streit line doubled up. I like how Sutton and Campoli are matched and Gervais and Streit are also. Im kinda looking forward to this year but still a little apprehensive. |

You know puck....I can appreciate criticism towards the team but I am really seeing a trend that you just don't like anything that this team is doing? Am I wrong? I'm not trying to snipe or anything but it would be nice if something nice about the team came from you once in a while, wouldn't it? Not trying to be out of line or anything... |
