Exciting loss on the way to draft Tavares....

Those refs were crap, and Joey Mac needs to learn how to cover the puck.

Reggie Dunlop: I am personally placing a hundred-dollar bounty on the head of Sean Avery. He's the head-giver and chief punk on that Rags team.
Jim Carr: A bounty?
Reggie Dunlop: Yeah, a hundred bucks of my own money for the first of my guys who really nails that creep. Double if he makes him bleed!

WAY TO GO, HALEY!!!

I heard the "Pile of Money You'd Be Saving by Switching to GEICO" has pretty good rebound control.

WTF was Campoli doing on that last goal?!? Keep your eyes on the puck and the man. He already started to go past the net when he realized the puck wasn't there. Whatever. As long as we get the #1 pick and we select Tavares and not trade down or pick another goalie, I'll be okay with that.
If you see someone down on the ground, you lend them a hand. Unless they're a Rangers fan, then you kick them in the face.

I can't believe I stayed awake for that.
But at least they made it interesting all the way up to the last few seconds.

Can we really ask for more than that?

sigh... maybe not.

I didn't stay awake but thank everyone for giving me a good idea what happened.

Bright spots again were #21, 57, 12. Cant wait for #51 to join them again.

I liked what Gordon did in the 3rd when Tambellini went to the lockerroom and put Bailey between Okposo and Comeau. Then Tambellini came back out and that was the end of that. Way to go Jeff.

A few days later John Tavares agent Ed Moneybucks informs the Islanders
his client has no desire to play for the Islanders and wants to be traded to the
Detroit Redwings.

Best thing about this road trip has been Jiggs McDonald.
Period.

I was not upset one bit that we lost a game last night.
Still a 3 point cushion on finishing dead last and having close to a 50% shot at drafting 1st overall.

All I have hope for now is that a rock solid future star will be here
to help market this team and garner interest around the league.

Congrats to Canada and tourney MVP John Tavares on winning gold.

Team Canada just won the gold. Tavares and Hedman looked incredible

And either (or dare to be greedy and delusional) or both of them would look even better in Orange, White, & Blue!

if both were on the same team, they'll have to have a "hug it out, B*tch" moment. Hedman played a very dirty game. Kept getting boos from the Canadian crowd.

After what Della #15 pulled in the USA game, any canadian fan that booed Hedman can STFU.

He's not a dirty player. He plays a tough game...much like Canadians love when its one of their guys.

He gave Esposito a good mugging after Espo collided with the Swedish goalie. What Canuck wouldn't have done the same if it was the Canuck goalie.

I'll take either Hedman or Tavares or both on the team next year. No need to ask me twice.
I miss these :cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: and want more of them

Canadian fans were the biggest bunch of sore winners. Screw them. Got tired of Pierre dum dum too telling me how great they are. The were lucky to get out of the semis.
