Exciting loss on the way to draft Tavares.... Those refs were crap, and Joey Mac needs to learn how to cover the puck. |

Look at the bright side -- if you can keep your eyes open another half hour, you can catch Heidi Fleiss: The Would-Be Madam of Crystal Uh oh. Speaking of getting f**d -- Gordo ingratiating himself with the zebras.... |

WTF was Campoli doing on that last goal?!? Keep your eyes on the puck and the man. He already started to go past the net when he realized the puck wasn't there. Whatever. As long as we get the #1 pick and we select Tavares and not trade down or pick another goalie, I'll be okay with that. |

I can't believe I stayed awake for that. But at least they made it interesting all the way up to the last few seconds. Can we really ask for more than that? sigh... maybe not. |

I didn't stay awake but thank everyone for giving me a good idea what happened. "With the first pick in the June 2009 NHL draft, the New York Islanders select John Tavares ... John, come down and get your Islander jersey..." -- Gary Bettman |

Bright spots again were #21, 57, 12. Cant wait for #51 to join them again. I liked what Gordon did in the 3rd when Tambellini went to the lockerroom and put Bailey between Okposo and Comeau. Then Tambellini came back out and that was the end of that. Way to go Jeff.

A few days later John Tavares agent Ed Moneybucks informs the Islanders his client has no desire to play for the Islanders and wants to be traded to the Detroit Redwings.

Best thing about this road trip has been Jiggs McDonald. Period. I was not upset one bit that we lost a game last night. Still a 3 point cushion on finishing dead last and having close to a 50% shot at drafting 1st overall. All I have hope for now is that a rock solid future star will be here to help market this team and garner interest around the league. Congrats to Canada and tourney MVP John Tavares on winning gold. |

After what Della #15 pulled in the USA game, any canadian fan that booed Hedman can STFU. He's not a dirty player. He plays a tough game...much like Canadians love when its one of their guys. He gave Esposito a good mugging after Espo collided with the Swedish goalie. What Canuck wouldn't have done the same if it was the Canuck goalie. I'll take either Hedman or Tavares or both on the team next year. No need to ask me twice. |

Canadian fans were the biggest bunch of sore winners. Screw them. Got tired of Pierre dum dum too telling me how great they are. The were lucky to get out of the semis. |
