In Garth I Trust

I wouldn't say lucky. It was a great game. But it is funny how Canada goes into a national identity crisis anytime an international hockey tournament is played. The nation sits on pins and needles ready to jump off a cliff collectively if they don't win gold. See the last three olympics and all the wjc as an example. I love Canada, but I do find it hysterical the level of hypocracy they have...complaining about the behavior of US athletes or fans but everything is perfectly fine and justified when their players or fans do inappropriate actions. oF course, all Canucks aren't like that just like all US fans aren't, but it often seems the vocal ones are. |
