Blasphemy!!!! BTW---- wtf were Martinek and Bergie doing on that third goal? Bergie blindly throws a pass to a covered point man turning it over in the o-zone and Martinek looked like a draddle he got turned around so badly on the rush to our zone. Neither of these two have looked very good tonight. Tamby...be careful. We might actually expect 5 goals from you this season if you keep up shots like that. Of course, Joey is doing a great job of keeping us in the game. Anyone notice that weak call to put Streit in the box to create a 5 v 3, but when Bailey gets pulled down at the blueline on our PP resulting in a rush for Calgary...shockingly we didn't get to go on the 5 v. 3 Can't even attempt to make it look even, huh zebras? |
I miss these and want more of them ![]()

Actually it is DP wearing Joey Mac's jersey. Mac does his best, but when will some people realize that he isn't a number one. He's a very capable backup. 5-2 not completely unexpected, but I am disappointed that this game isn't as close as the other games on the road trip. |

Is it possible that we are missing a physical presence in Andy Sutton?

We're missing some Western Conference physical presence. Sutton is just one. We need another--a big, physical d-man who will actually punish opposing players that dare to cross our crease. 1/2 year towards the rebuild is right, LED. KO, Comeau, Bailey, Bergie, Nielsen, Streit, maybe Trevor Smith, and Bambellini if he keeps it up are the beginning lights. Think of things like a dimmer switch... we need a couple years to get brighter. |

I can deal with that. I like the kid. As soon as he grows up a little (on the ice people) he'll have my complete attention. Yes... WE are missing Andy Sutton BIG TIME. |

I was forced to watch the game on center ice and the Flames announcers last night since Charter didnt turn on the MSG++ channel up here in Ct. You think these announcers could learn how the Islanders names are pronounced. The K is silent in Okposo and Pock is pronounced like Poke not as in Lock. They also went on how Trent Hunter was a good prospect a couple of years ago but has really been a dissappointment. Get a clue. I've been lucky this year since this was only the 2nd time so far I've to listen to the other teams announcers. Thank God for that. Though I'm not surprised. With all the games I watch on Center Ice, there are many bad announcers around the league. |

No I in team, but there is an "m,e".

6-1 ----> 5-2 I was close. The plan is in place. With all the great drafting that will be done for next year, we should be able to hit that 9th spot and just miss the playoffs. Ready to make that push in 2 years. Here we come. Pierre Turgeon... er... Trevor Smith (#77 still throws me ) is looking good. Yea no expectation pressure on him, so he can just play.Sutton? Physical presences? D needs more then him (I don't think he's really missed. Witt and Rad are just not cutting it. Last years little "west coast" trip was all that great either (D.P. performance vs the Oilers). This trip was... well.... expected. 28 pts. Bring on that #1 pick that Snowy can trade away!!! |

does anybody else notice HOW BAD Witt has been playing, lately? Ever since his public criticism, Witt has been lazy, slow, and not giving a Sh*t. Witt was a -3 last night. HE'S A -25 THIS SEASON! he was great to have last season but i think his time is up. Snow needs to move him, anywhere! |

While I'm one of the people who's been critical of him since last year and I agree to a certain extent... he did have a very good game in that win at the Coliseum when DP played well. But yes, Witt, again last night...tries to block shot but ends up screening our goalie on a bang bang play. Flat footed is something no hockey player feels good about and I'm sure it's killing him too. |
