I'm just not sure what to make of it until I get some clarification from some/all of the parties involved

Don't hold your breath. You'll get a well crafted comment, but I doubt you'll get any true clarification of the reasoning.

Smitty, you won't see an impact on ice for a few years. What our farm system looks like today may not look as good a few years from now. I don't know how much influence Jankowski had on our picks, but if he was the 'eye' for talent then this could hurt us.

This is absolutely going to hurt us. Snow has even admitted (maybe not intentionally) that these drafts are all Jankowski. We're in deep sh!t.

DO NOT PANIC!!!!

The last few drafts, Jank ran and Snow chose but all the while, TWO prodigees were picking up on everything and every nuance, every facet of evaluation, every skillset in character and abilty evaluation was shown to them.

I present the new directors of scouting for North America and Europe!

(notice the orange skintone on the co-director of scouting, my girlfriend points out.....Cholly Wangka and his Oompa Loompa?)
"clearly it's Rick DiPietro's stupidity that's put the islanders in this situation getting into an altercation when a game was over..." Keith Jones on VS

"But the Coliseum became a repository for all the team's troubles, a convenient scapegoat. There were suggestions that no major free agent ever would set foot in such a decrepit place. We have two words for anyone making that argument: Fenway Park. History says free agents would play in an old boxcar if they got enough money and had a chance to win." - Mark Herrmann

After several key farmers left via free agency, is our farm system as good as it was the start of last year?

Repeat a lie frequently enough....
Some more information/insight/opinions on the HiJanks thing from BD Gallof. Sorry if already posted. Very interesting read. Sure to spark some good discussion here!

Authority without wisdom is like a heavy axe without an edge: fitter to bruise than polish.

Anger makes dull men witty, but it keeps them poor.

In the beginning, the Universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
