“Dylan was a valued member of our organization last season,” said Islanders General Manager Garth Snow. “We look forward to having him with us again next season.” Keep signing those quality players Garth. In between his trips from the office to Friendlys, Hooters, and Wendys Garth has shifted his game into overdrive to sign such quality. He is working extra hard! Next announcement will be they have resigned Robert Nilsson, Richard Park, Jon Sim, and bringing back Kvasha to mentor our young Russians, |

It's s 2-way deal. He'll be at the bridge and only up when someone's injured. No biggie. I just hope they don't announce a Reese signing at the Isles store. If you thought the last auto session was sparce, this one would have a few Reese's pieces waiting outside, if that. (yeah I know that one sucked)

I feel he played very admirably filling in for Andy Mac. He wasn't a liability on D and in my eyes, he was better than Gervais by a decent stretch. |

As a depth player playing in the bridge and used like last year if the D gets depleted this is a good signing. I'm fine with this. |

Yeah, this is one of those fill in the blank signings. Bridge as a spare part if we need one. So now we're only like $9,999,999 under the cap FLOOR. |

I really could care less about Reese or any of these "C" level players (although he was better than Bruno). They are going to have to address the cap floor at some point. Aren't teams penalized for not meeting the floor? It appears Kovy is headed out West, but it appears the Blackhawks were forced to match another RFA and could be forced to trade Patrick Sharp. At $3.9 million, he could help us get that much closer to the floor. Another option may be Frolov. Not sure what other options there may be.
