Ok, now we can set our sights on....... :dontknow:

I'd rather bring in different re-treads....Sutton and Asham. I know most people here don't want either of these guys back but I really like the physical element each brings...and I think both guys actually have a skill level that tends to get underestimated (JMO).

If not Asham or Sutts, there are still a number of decent, mid-level players that we could land. The UFA class of forwards this year was weak, but Afinogenov (sp?) is an interesting thought...as is the enigmatic Frolov. Not sure if there are any other d-men out there who I'd be interested in. Wait, Mitchell brings a pretty physical game, yes? Anyone know anything about his concussion problems?
Authority without wisdom is like a heavy axe without an edge: fitter to bruise than polish.

Anger makes dull men witty, but it keeps them poor.

In the beginning, the Universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

In a twist of Islanders irony, the news of Ilya Kovalchuk re-signing with the Devils came while I was baking cupcakes (that's not a joke...funfetti and swiss chocolate)...

Willie Mitchell declared himself to be healthy a couple weeks ago. He'd be a great addition.

You know...there once was a wee lad that went by the name of Richard DiPietro who declared himself healthy on multiple occasions...and it didn't work out too well.

Was Katie at the Kovalchuk press conference? I heard Larry Brooks ask a question, but not Katie. Maybe she was still baking?

WHY WOULD SHE BE THERE COVERING THE DEVILS?
ITS HARD ENOUGH GETTING HER TO COVER THE ISLES
