Seems like a fair deal dollar-wise. One can quibble with the length, but taking a look to make sure he has a strong follow up season seems cautious but wise. Would this make MM a UFA next season? Botta says he "could" become unrestricted next season. "Could?" I know the Isles can always sign him before free agency hits, but his status will either be one or the other (RFA or UFA), no? |

Fair enough. For me, this is where the rubber hits the road. Bring in young talent, assess them and then make a decision. If Moulson has another strong year, the Isles will have the opportunity to show that, in spite of all the off-ice stuff, they are willing to do the right thing on the ice. If he doesn't have a good follow up, then Garth is holding all the cards (re-sign at low salary, trade at deadline, let him walk away as a UFA ala Bergie). I can understand the frustration that some Isles fans feel, though I do think it gets blown out of proportion due to losing and just the nature of internet message boards. Still, I am very optimistic about the on-ice product and it is my hope that these next 24 months are going to be very good ones for this organization. |

There was no one there for arbitration since Wang fired everyone, so Joey Suckolowski from Bay Shore, who works at the downstairs concession stand on the soda fountain, was forced to act as team rep. Wang fired him afterwards. |

He wasn't positive enough about the root beer, sources say. In November, he reportedly said it was too foamy.

Not bad, if he has another season like last year then extend him. If he goes 60 games with 2 goals don't. Smart, safe contract with the leverage on our side. Geez, did I just say something positive about this organization? Must be getting back to my old self...
