according to Bruins site, games are at 7pm tonight and tomorrow.
tickets (for those in Boston) are 5 bucks.

Free for Bruins season ticket holders.

James, good catch.
I just noticed that roster list was posted a couple of says ago.
Guess they didn't update it to remove Petrov's name, unlesss "Mr. August"
pulls a mid-September and he's back in the US.

But Survivor starts tonight. I guess I'll watch the rookie game for an hour, or just DVR Survivor.
I sold it all, retired and moved to Fabulous Las Vegas!

After talking to Islanders Head Coach Scott Gordon this morning, it’s apparent the players are ready to take on Boston’s rookies tonight. Best of all, Gordon is confident his skaters have what it takes to pull out a W.

“The highlight of the day hasn’t happened yet. It will be after we win tonight and get the two points against Boston,” Coach Gordon said.

But Coach Gordon isn’t the only one ready for tonight’s game. Islanders prospect Kirill Kabanov is ready to make his dream come true.

“I’m really excited about playing tonight,” Kabanov said. “It was always my dream to put on an NHL jersey and for my first game which is not like a scrimmage it’s pretty much like a real game, wearing NHL colors. It’s pretty cool.”

While the rookies are psyched to play a game inside the TD Garden later tonight, Gordon said these games are all about learning to use the Islanders system and play as a team.

“We’ll hopefully get them to play like a team tonight and give them a little bit of a taste of our style of play,” Gordon said. “So what they’ve learned will hopefully be carried forward into the main camp for the guys that do go in to the main camp.”

Lines at this morning’s pregame skate were as follows:

Forwards:
Rakhshani, Ullstrom, Niederreiter
DiBenedetto, Cizikas, Figren
O’Neil, Taylor, Tarasuk
Kabanov, Romano, + one irregular shift

Defensemen:
de Haan, Hamonic
Klementyev, Katic
DeHart, Syvret

I'm psyched for this.
I know we cannot get too high on any of these prospects ovre a game like this but
just to see them in an Isles uni is what has me stoked.

I'll watch the first period and then ping pong my eyes tween the laptop stream and the TV (Survivor and then Big Brother).
I know, reality show nimrod, nerdling...that's me.

Is it going to be on the Isles web site or what?. I can't find any information about it.
It's a damn shame, here I am in MA. and I can't go to the game. Still don't know my way around this state. (I think it's because I really don't want to)

would be the same feed is it was working on the Isles site. I think it's a pretty damn impressive feed for a (not even) preseason game on an internet stream.

Wow, 2-0 Bruins.

Koskinen giving up too many rebounds. He's gotta tighten that up.

Nice skill by Rahkshani tho.
