No offense to Mets fans, Queens residents or anyone else who will disagree with this.

IMO and has always been that the Queens talks were just banter and a favor used as leverage.

Leverage on what?

Hempstead and Nassau don't care if NYI leaves or stays. (The attendance and support of the local politicians is a joke and proof.) The vote for Murray proved that.

The Coliseum being a dump argument is as stale as a 3rd period coliseum pretzel..

:WORSHIP: He isn't moving to Queens to be part of the mess that's already there. He bought the Islanders to get some land in Nassau. He's not going to play second fiddle to anyone.

...until he sells to Wilpon because he doesn't get enough Nassau land.

Please Cholly end this nightmare and sell so they can move to Queens and become relevant again.

:P

He'll have to sell the Mets to find some money to buy the Isles.

Wilpon said on ESPN radio today that 1 has nothing to do with the other. All business entities are separate according to him. He said he lost no or minimal money to Madoff as it relates to his other businesses. NYI cost is chump change to Jeff & Freddy if it means expanding Willets Point.

Get ir done.
