Wilpon said on ESPN radio today that 1 has nothing to do with the other. All business entities are separate according to him. He said he lost no or minimal money to Madoff as it relates to his other businesses. NYI cost is chump change to Jeff & Freddy if it means expanding Willets Point. Get ir done.

He isn't moving to Queens to be part of the mess that's already there. He bought the Islanders to get some land in Nassau. He's not going to play second fiddle to anyone.
