This song is brutallly awful.

Who names their kid Zenon anyway?    :dontknow:

His father Zenon Sr. according to Botta

I really don't like the song (a 25 year old song from a Austrian pop band?) but as long it's played all the time at the NVMC, who cares?

Zenon Konopka, anything but inert.
I sold it all, retired and moved to Fabulous Las Vegas!

If the this is what the team wants, it's fine as long as they win. If they are 15 points out of a playoff spot in January then give the fans what they want.

If we are that far behind at that point...I'd imagine the goal song probably wasn't played much anyway up to that point :yea:

I could care less about what goal song they play. What I do wish and have wished for for many years is for them to get rid of that bush league, Whew, Whew, Whew that they play after the goal song. It is the silliest thing and serves no purpose other than to make us look unprofessional and cheap and fire up the opposition. It is an embarrassment IMO!

Visit any high school football or lacrosse game, and every college lacrosse game and you'll hear the wooo. It's not exclusive to the Coliseum, at all.

Well then, I guess that the Islanders are on the same level as high school football. That explains everything!

NYI will be on a high school radio station next season.

If the shoe fits.........they're certainly run like a high school team!

John Tavares was 2 years old the last time NYI won a playoff series
