Amazing journey by Martin this season. Beginning in the CeHL with Odessa, joining Sound Tigers when needed and now Islanders. Also fun to see it can be done....yeah yeah I know, only in Islanders. :yea:

Another journeyman UNDRAFTED scrub.
He'll be here until the other journeyman UNDRAFTED scrub (Lawson) gets back in a few weeks.

I hope these UNDRAFTED scrubs like the building.

if i'm the isles you have to get M Smith off waivers you really don't have a choice maybe you can make another deal for a goalie Paulin and Martin can't be feed to the wolves

anyway its time for the Islanders to cut lose Rick DiPietro this will not work it's time to cut your loses.

It's impossible to cut him loose. They cannot buy him out as it would cost for dearly for years.
Best case scenario is that a doctor declares him unable to compete forcing retirement vs voluntary as he then comes off the cap.

Only other way is if we make a phone call and get Paulie Walnuts out of retirement.

maybe Paulie WAlnuts got him that contract

bottom line it's now official the Islanders have two fiasco's #1 (all together now) da building #2 Rick DiPietro

which goes to show us all again in sports management don't sign players to huge long term contracts-STUPID!

Who the f*&k is Joel Martin? Some .890 sv% ECHL goalie?

Snow really sucks balls if this is the best he can do for an NHL backup.

I sold it all, retired and moved to Fabulous Las Vegas!

Nick, I think Snow only kisses them.
They just called up Koskinen.
Guy has struggled for our LAST PLACED Bridgeport team.

His numbers are just as bad as DiPietro's and yet he's HEALTHY
and playing in the AHL.

Another guy drafted much too early compared to where other teams had him rated.
But our guys know best. Just ask them.

My friend is actually the number 3 roller hockey goalie for 16 and under in the nation. He's probably better.
