I'm literally puking listening to him flat out BS us with this rubbish. Asked about replacing Jankowski, Trott's etc... he says he doesn't want to comment on former players... then has the friggen nerve to say we need to go to NYI.COM and look at their scouts and personnel. Unreal, we have the SMALLEST and LEAST collective experienced scouting team in the whole league!!!!! then asked why should fans spend money and still come out to watch while they lose... he has the nerve to say that it's FUN to watch a team of young players through the LEAN years because it will be THAT much more rewarding when they turn the corner. Hey ASSHOLE!!!! Forget the injury excuse BS, wasn't THIS supposed to be the year that YOUR job was on the line if you DIDN'T make the playoffs??? He had no integrity left before this interview. I expected nothing better than this it's just that it's all too surreal to watch such utter bullcrap. I'm just really sad right now. This really sucks.

Yuck. I'm surprised they asked some of the tough questions...but he skated around them. Once again, no questions answered. |

OJ Simpson's law team was more believable than this rubbish. All kidding aside, when he looked at the camera and said that it's fun watching young players grow through the tough times that it will be that much more rewarding when they start winning...that's when I felt empty. When those players do grow and start winning, will they be wearing Islanders jerseys? That is our fear. This interview was the equivalent of someone squeamish renting faces of death. This is the worst I've felt about our team and it's future all year. Thanks Garth. Thank you very much. |

He says they aren't going to use the injuries as an excuse...then rattles off the injury list as an excuse. Watching players develop while losing is fun? How about watching them take steps backwards and hate their jobs...is that fun? Jack knows the players...he's the right guy? even @ 1-9 u tool? The most sickening part of it all is how he rolled over the question about the expiring lease citing: "it doesn't affect his day to day job"...but he cites "the future" for every other answer. I guess he's forgetting that "the future" includes having a f#@king place to play.

"The Future" is what gets those IM posters nippies pert. "The Future" is what camouflages the total ineptitude he has currently and allows him to hang onto a job in this league. (Well, Wang is more inept, so he can count many blessings) Tell me the goal is winning and I'll laugh. Wanger has no desire to win. He kept Milbury, he made outlandish contracts, he spent barely anything on upgrades, instead spending more on China many years. He's pathetic. He hired a no-can-do schlub with "a business degree" for a reason: he wants to do it his way and his way, THUS FAR, has landed men in prison, had over a BILLION DOLLARS forcefully removed from the recipient and caused turmoil and ruin on thousands and thousands of people. His way has caused this franchise to sink lower than it sank under Milstein. Well, Snow won't ever get a job in the NHL again. Milbury already has one. Smith has his own team. Nolan will coach again. Lavy won a Cup. Sterling has a better shot at the NHL again. Snow is done. Wang, thankfully, will end up in even worse shape. But where will we end up? Will we be able to recover from Wang's reign of terror? This is the sad truth......but the biggest victim will and has always been the average Joe who bought Wang's shares then and who loved his team now. Let's hope we can stick this out. The good news is that today, a decade later, CA trades for $24.03, right where it was when Wang cooked the books. Maybe one day it will hit the sixties. And maybe one day the Isles will see Lord Stanley when Wang is gone for good. |

There is no diaper big enough, leakproof enough for this franchise. Wang, GarfGarf....way to have a captain helping out everybody but the guys on the ice (like it matters to anyone in this organization). |
