We will need to make a trade or sign an UFA or draft another goalie for next season. Let's hope those who advise DP tell him to call it quits. Seriously. It's more important he will be able to walk 20 years from now than play another season.

Don't count out Nabokov, not unless he's ready to retire. A new season with new promise and an NHL job could change his mind, you never know.

Did they say that they were going to "toll" his contract? If they don't, he is fee to go to a team of his choice in the off-season. Personally, I would toll the contract.

They never announced it publicly but it was one of those "per an NHL source" type deals.

ya know a lot of people seem to like this poulin character. i certainly do from what we got to see.

I wish some people could put together who actaully drafted him in 5th round and give that person some praise.

All the bashing of our gm would have much more credibility if every good move wasnt met with the response "oh that move was a No Brainer", the funny thing is this team is gonna grow two more years and if wang lets us spend even to the minimum then all of sudden people are going to realize that garth might actually be worthy of his job.

no need to jump at me, I know I am the only one here who thinks that :goofy2:

:yea:

so then are you saying that all the good draft picks were done by jankowski and all bad moves by the honorable Garth... that doesnt seem fair.

and no i am not garth snow nor am i related to him, I just continue to voice the lonely opinion that he will one day make us all proud. If and when he is given a reasonable budget to work with. Until then he will just lie to us and tell us he has no restrictions.
