KO has limited PP time and has been on the Isles checking line most of the time. If they swapped him out for PAP on JT's line he would have more points IMO. |

"flash-in-the-pan" Grabner netting over 30. But seriously, I still he doubt he is the real deal. Led Zep still posting on here. Poullin and his knee-cap issue considering it is his 2nd knee cap injury in the last couple years. Snow taking on Wanger's paranoid personality with Botta. man-games lost to injury. too much to list. |

I think Bailey and Okposo were the most disappointing....in that we EXPECTED much more out of them. Lawson, DP and Bruno had ZERO expectations. |
|
Chris Botta: Ray, how come you are so critical of the Islanders? Ray Ferraro: Because they the last time they won a playoff series, I passed the puck to David Volek! | |

DP is not a disappointment to me, I never thought he could play 3 games without getting hurt. He should shake off rust in the minors, but management is taking into account his playoff record when they wheel him onto the ice after how long? Bailey started hot, then disappeared. I guess that makes him my #1 let down. The thing is that our brain trust needs to be sent to Bridgeport for their handling of "the kids". That HAS to change for this team to be legitimate. Botta-WTF? Ditto with Trots. Radio-I am in CT and used to listen to games, it ain't that far away. KO gets a bye for this year, major injury with heavy rehab. Next year is big for him. Training staff is an issue, but myopic ownership will do nothing and we will lose more man games than most teams in the league unless they wake up in the off season. My #2 disappointment was not seeing Streit play with the post losing streak team. His healthy return is the number 1 priority to this team progressing. |

Lets say Helen Mirren is hosting SNL this weekend and she's playing a mother. The scene is based on her son Jackace coming home from school and crying to his mother saying mommy why did you name me Jackace all the kids call me Jackass Helen Mirren like any mother consoles her child and says I thought naming you after a hard ware store would be nice. Helen Mirren continuos talking to her distraught child Jackace saying, "does this still have anything to do with that man crush you have on ricardo dee pee a throw the has been Islander goalie You know Jackace you still have that poster of him eating the cream off of a hockey helmet on your wall Now scene cute to 2011 and Jackace is now a grown man but still has a man crush on ricardo dee pee a throw so any poster or person that posts or talks about ricardo dee pee a throw in tones that bother him just sets him off and his only consolation is knowing he has the poster of ricardo dee pee a throw still hanging on his "what he calls at home his escape room and knowing a dvd is coming out of dp's two playoff wins" And now in reality time all grown up picks a posters name of Jackace It make you wonder the daily choices he makes in real life. Milk is a dollar I have 63 cents in my pocket, I guess I can by that milk Note: this will now be pitched so stay tuned Saturday night Jackass you may have just made me 10 grand............

What's even better than the numerous grammatical and spelling errors in this incoherent babble is that you think I am a supporter of DP. I guess you really were on the little yellow bus growing up. I feel guilty. Like I'm picking on someone with special needs.

shoot to score & play to win
|
I like what KO did this year, he's one of 6 plus players on the team and I think him being with Frans & Grabs helped. I think he's done great on the back check and has played well in his own zone. Bailey, I hate to write this, this kid has been screwed by the Islanders since day one. I hope he finds his game or figures out what kind of player he wants to be. Injuries. Gordon. (If I wrote job on a piece of paper and handed it to you, you'd have a job?) Getting pushed around the first half quite a bit. Our top 3 point scorers are all minus players. |

He has spurts where he makes these great one-on-one moves and gets you out of your seat. I wish he'd use his linemates more for give-and-go's. Rarely see that. Another reason we need leadership to teach these guys or bring the bets out of them. Also if he replaced Papineau, I don't know if he has more points. Papineau distributes the puck more...Okposo hangs onto it alot longer than he should. |

pretty much summed it up except the arena situation still not resolve. as far as Rick DiPietro goes the Islanders will use three goalies until further notice. until DiPietro's leg falls off or he call it quits he's not going any where. you just can't give any player (and I do mean any player) more then a 5 year contract and even that's too long Ricky is here to stay |
