I got the oil leak fixed and everything is running pretty good. But I have noticed that when I drive up the long hill to the local ski area that the engine has some significant hesitation almost sputtering sometimes. Any ideas where to start? It usually idles pretty smooth, sometimes a little high. I live at about 5500 feet and drive it up to 7500 and over 10000 in the summer, but it seems the same at all elevations. On a lighter note, does anyone have any suggestions for fixing bad weatherstripping? |

Johnny is the man who can give you guidance on the altitude impact to your ride. I live at sea level! Sorry! Weatherstripping.... If it is the tough stuff around fixed windows... leave it alone. It may look bad but will not leak unless compromised. If it is the kind around the roll up windows or vent windows, look around online... I actually found weatherstripping for the vent windows online a year or two ago. Prices were not outrageous either. Happy hunting. |
