I'm on my 3rd or 4th day of doing an engine and transmission swap in an '88 2.6 automatic I call Elvis. I've discovered that I'm more of a short term project person and that when things start to drag on I have a harder and harder time staying on task. Nothing has gone horribly wrong, it's just a lot of work, especially when you're doing it by yourself in the middle of the woods. I'm sitting here drinking my coffee this Sunday morning and using the excuse that "I'm spending time improving on the forum" so that I can procrastinate the head and ITEC installation on this Trooper for another hour or so..

If it helps to justify the procrastination, the improvements to the forum are great ;)

You're putting it off because it's an ITEC and not carbed. If you need help getting it tuned, let me know. LMAO

Its the same when you're working for the man. Office politics and shennanigans get in the way of doing good work.

Its gets harder when people stop by to interrupt detailed computer work and play twenty-questions.

I end up putting in ear plugs and playing white noise through the big arse headphones.

There are those days John, after painting houses for decades, that I'm sitting at my comp. drinking my coffee , checking email...and saying to myself ..." I gotta pick up a paintbrush again?" ..."Yeah, get off your ass and get to work!"..."Give me one good freekin' reason...!"..."'Cause you have a trooper to restore, rent to pay, and if you bloody well don't , you won't have internet access when the phone company shuts your service off for non-payment"..."Oh, ok then, ...hi ho, hi ho it's off to sling some paint I go."
