Just picked up my snowflakes. They're 16's and I'm putting them on an 88 Trooper. Anyone know the max size tire I can mount on them without rubbing? I'm guessing about a P265/70R16; but if I can go bigger, I will. |

Never mind. I've been told that I should go with 245's since my goal is to optimize mileage and road performance. Maybe when I grow up and build an off road rig, I'll get the bigger tires. For now, this thing is my bread and butter vehicle; so I have to stay on the conservative side of the line. |

It depends on the offset of the wheels 245 are best for the mpg etc i run 235 on my stock alloys only because of the offset caused them to rub its standard was 205 16s at 60 it revved its tits aff yeag good accelration but low top speed |
