Rebuilding 87 4zd1 and noticed that the number 1 main bearing oil hole is partially covered by the bearing insert. All other bearing oil holes are correct. Is number 1 a special bearing or do I need to enlarge the opening in the bearing insert to match the oil hole in the block?

That's normal. Don't modify anything. |
