I know this isn't a trooper question (but it is an Isuzu), but the people here seem to be really knowledgable and have sound advice. One of my I-marks U joints has gone bad. They are staked into place. The driveline shop here in my area won't even touch it. They just told me to call Isuzu and get a whole new shaft (those dickbags) I don't have the time (advent-Christmas season sucks for a paid church organist/little Caesars manager) or resources to do it myself. I'd also be afraid to break/bend something. They supposedly do custom work and can fabricate anything, apparently not. They wouldn't even make a new shaft, which would be cheaper than getting one from Zu, which would take 50 years since it's back ordered since everything for imarks are back ordered. Can I just go to any mechanic and say "replace these"? I've read about shops doing this all the time, but the supposed experts in my area won't touch it. Does anyone have any advice? |

get ahold of Jerry jlemond@bellsouth.net and talk to him about it. I know nothing about those things but I bet Jerry knows all about it and can suggest a solution. |

I usually ask Jerry after trying to get a few answers seeing as every blessed Enthusiastic Zu owner knows who this genius is. He had a good solution. |
