Anyone else have to deal with your child not being with you each day? I share 50/50 custody with my ex and it's difficult enough being away from my 2 kids, but throw in the eczema and it raises the frustration factor 10 fold. I'm sure my ex has many gripes about me, and the disparaging could obviously go both ways. We were never on the same page, and how we deal with my son's eczema is unfortunately indicative of how we've handled many of our issues. A public forum is not a place to be discussing these things. But I just wanted to know if there was anyone out there dealing with similar circumstances because it can be incredibly frustrating. |

Hi - I don't have any personal experience with divorce, although my husband and I used to disagree on our son's skin care. Although, he's now very much on my side since I pretty much have cured my son's eczema. Let's just say he trusts me more now. I posted your comment on FB, here is one reply: "My ex husband, his wife and I manage it, but it takes a TON of communication and we each put a LOT of hard work and effort into our child's skin care. My daughter also has asthma and food allergies, so we just have to talk it out...a lot." |
