I am having way too much fun with the rail map maker.

Also, if I ever do manage to transfer the software and files off my old hard drive, I'm thinking of making a guide on how to make maps in PowerPoint. It's a really great tool for those of us who are too cheap to shell out for Photoshop.

heh, I've just always drawn out my maps in paint... I should probably switch to something else though.

So did I, and you'll find that it's actually not difficult to turn MS Paint maps into PowerPoint ones.

I did manage to get my files off my old hard drive, but I didn't have the time to move all of MS Office and its appendant files, application extensions, etc.

Ooh!

I have a resource for metro/subway map. It's a free trial though I believe, but from what I heard, it's good (according to Kir).
